The monsoon has arrived

And Hyderabad is a very different place. Consider this:

I just got back from supper and a long, post-dining walk. It's beautiful out - cool, slight breeze, dust considerably damped by today's rain. The city seems to have shared a sigh of relief; everyone seems a bit less hurried.

The sky has become very interesting.

I'm still ferociously jet-lagged; I'm writing this entry in part to keep myself away for another hour so that I'll hopefully sleep through the night. Eastbound travel just doesn't work for me.
